Life is a little more precious around our house lately. I am trying to slow down a bit and remember the little things. Kate inspired me to start documenting life. As a photographer, I am sooooo BAD about shooting my own family. You know camera = work type of thing. I find myself purposely leaving my camera behind on family outings or events. (Not major ~ my child is the star of the play events) I'm talking park, ice cream shop, fair, road trips. I love sleepy faces. But i don't ever get my camera out in the morning. Yes, I always regret it, but it is such a nice break without a camera in my hand. BUT ~ things are a changin'. I grabbed my camera tonight for just a few minutes and shot exactly what everyone was doing. No self portraits! You would thank me (sorry you had to see me today Brooke, thanks for the unbelievable present by the way) This face hasn't seen a drop of make-up for a few weeks! TG dancing in her room. Sophie watching her, Addi watching the new tube, and Matt cooking away. So, I encourage you to do the same. In this digital world, you can't afford not to pick up your camera once a day. You new moms... oh those sweet first days, you can't take enough pictures. You will never , ever regret it. Wow, I am usually a girl with few words, who knew? tonight.....
